The Nautec Cygnus is a compact ROV suitable for a variety of observation and inspection tasks. The ROV is particularly suited to operate on small boat. The Abel Nautec Cygnus system is specifically configured for inspection and quick mobilization.

The Abel Nautec Cygnus system is specifically configured for inspection and onshore work, as well as for scientific and environmental surveys. The system is available for ROV services in free fly configuration. Its compact dimentions and weight (50 Kg only) allow an easy deployment and reduce mod/demob time, with 24hrs availability in Italy and 48 hrs in all Europe.

In september 2007, Abel carried out an inspection for SNAM ReteGas of the TMPC pipeline between Italy and Tunisia using the Innovatum SmarTrack  (a first in Italy) and Tritech SeaKing 704 Oceanographic system.
